Our Story

Luminary Love is a family-owned boutique candle company founded by An'La'NoueAlecia, who grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. My passion for the arts and DIY projects began early, but it was put on hold after my beloved father fell ill. His battle with diabetes and strokes impacted my family deeply, and I often found myself struggling with the difficulties of life - including moving to Northern California and the pressures of growing up.

For years, I wrestled with my sense of purpose and felt lost, especially during family gatherings filled with well-meaning but anxiety-inducing questions. It wasn’t until the passing of my father on Friday October 18th, 2024 at 02:06 a.m., that my passion reignited.

Through grief and reflections on the past, I found new inspiration in creating things that brought comfort and luxury, leading to the birth of Luminary Love. With a vision to combine relaxation and aromatherapy in a safe, eco-friendly way, and a tribute to my father's tenacity, I started the business with a modest initial investment. 

Luminary Love reflects my journey of healing, self-discovery, and the desire to bring warmth and peace to others through handmade candles.
